1960’s Polish Parts Kit
Frankie (West Virginia) 1/7/2018 8:32 PM
Just received my Polish parts kit and it is really nice. I feel really satisfied with the purchase. My kit is a 1967, beautiful dark wood (what I was hoping for and has very minor dings), black painted finish (has minor chipping here and there but not bad at all), matching parts, and all the parts seem demilled very nicely. For being almost 60 years old, this surplus AK is awesome! I cant wait to put this thing together. Thank you AOA for the beautiful parts kit!
Good Buy

My kit was a 1969 with all matching serials. It was demilled pretty nicely, parts were clean and packed separately, barrel was blued with some minor scratches, but the wood I got was in pretty great shape. I mated mine to a Childers Polish receiver and I'm very pleased with the results. Considering the barrel, parts, and if the furniture is as nice as mine its definitely worth the price. I would buy another kit if I had the money right now.
Wood not as described, "New CHF barrel" with rust on threads
Andrew (California) 5/20/2017 9:46 PM
Supposedly the wood "will have some scratches and scuffs from shipping but can easily be refinished to look like new if desired." handguard came with laminated wood chipped which would make it impossible to refinish to make it look "like new" No signs that this damage was from shipping since there was wood chips anywhere in the packaging or in the paper it was wrapped in. Also some gouging in the wood from what I expect to be from shipping. New barrel has rust on threads. Thanks for leaving a review and very sorry the kit did not meet your expectations. The contractor that performs the headspacing uses a cold blue solution to touch up the threads and it leaves a residue that might appear like rust that should wipe right off. As for the furniture any small scratches or scuffs in the wood would have came from the parts shipping from Poland to the USA (not from us shipping to you). If you feel the wood can't be refinished to look new please send a picture and we would be glad to swap for another piece if that's the case. Thanks for your business and sorry we did not meet your expectations, Arms of America
