Directs all of the muzzle blast and apparent noise away from your ears, downrange, instead of to the side like traditional brakes. Large expansion chamber helps control muzzle flip & felt recoil. Solid steel construction. No detent notch, timing is not neccessary.

Fantastic performance for the price. Night and day difference on a short barrel like a Draco. Nice knurling on the brake, makes it easy to twist. It does not have a detent spot, not sure why, snugging it with a wrench works fine though.

14-1 LH Short Forward Compensator
Solid, well crafted. However, as an AK Comp, it should have a "notches" cut so as the AK locking post can sit in a notch. It doesn't.

I am not a clever man. My rifle has modern AK 100 style threads, not 14x1 L. But that's my fault. Do your homework and you won't be looking into an adapter like I am. :)

Linear Compensator
I ordered this because I needed something to direct the sound away. After receiving it I found that the threads were cut very rough and it wouldn't go on the rifle. I fixed the threads myself and let customer service know about the issue. They were very pleasant to deal with and made it right. The muzzle device itself performs very well for it's small size. It moves all of the blast down range and even helps quite a bit with muzzle flash. Extremely happy with this product and with Arms Of America.

AK47 14-1 LH Short Forward Compensator
Tried it out in place of a 'Tank Brake' that came with my PSA AK5.56. Had to use an adapter and overall it kicks less and a hair quieter. Tried them, switching between several times to make sure of the difference and though a bit longer I like the performance.

mini blast can
The design is very good, for a mini forward comp. Detent notch is not made, so you'll probably want to dremel that in, but other than that I'm very pleased with it!
