These are adapters that will allow the use of standard upper AKM handguards to be used on a Tantal/Beryl style rifle. Simply slides on over the gas tube and fits into the rear sight block. Once your handguard is in place, the fit is very solid.

Note: As is common with AK parts, this part may require fitting.
We tested the fit and while this adapter dropped right into a rifle without a gas tube, after mounting it on the tube it did need some minor filing. Additionally, your handguard itself may need some fitting, as upper handguards have a lot of variation. The Romanian Wood upper pictured did not need modification, but others did.
