These beautiful matching serial number RPK 7.62x39 Parts kits are in excellent + condition. These are one of a kind, rare kits, that feature the Molot shield logo on the trunnion. Only a small amount of these are available. They were originally built in Hungary, using contracted parts. Since they were Hungarian, they came with Hungarian cleaning accessories. All kits are dated 1976.

These were carefully demilled so that the receiver and barrel was permanently torch cut/destroyed as per guidelines. You will need to order a new barrel and receiver when rebuilding these kits. You will also need other necessary 922r parts and rivets etc.

These kits have almost no visibile wear on the parts and were carefully packaged to protect the wood during import. With that said due to the age they could have a light rust, scratches, and other normal wear for any surplus item that has been in storage for 50+ years. They arrived with many of the parts coated in grease.

We have verified matching serial numbers for collectors on all 10 parts that contain serial numbers:
Bolt, Bolt carrier, trunnion, dust cover, gas tube, recoil spring, rear sight leaf, sear, safety lever, and handguard.

Includes a sealed AK cleaning kit with Hungarian plastic oil bottle, and canvas/leaver sling that are in NOS condition.

Similar to the Hungarian SVD's, since Hungary likely contracted most of the parts for production (since they were built in small numbers) we can't guarantee any special proof marks or stamps.

The RPK (Russian: Ð ÑƒÑ‡Ð½Ð¾Ð¹ пулемёт Калашникова/РПКromanized: Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova, English: "Kalashnikov's hand-held machine gun"), sometimes retroactively termed the RPK-47, is a Soviet 7.62×39mm light machine gun that was developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the early 1960s, in parallel with the AKM assault rifle. It was created to standardize the small arms inventory of the Soviet Army, where it replaced the 7.62×39mm RPD machine gun. The RPK continues to be used by the military of the post-Soviet states and certain African and Asian nations.

I would have given 5 stars but the kit was painted over, and the wood had random lacquer runs

Posted by Andriy G on Oct 16th 2024

I was really excited about this, I wish they put in their description that these kits were painted over with this dull greyish black paint. U can see the original paint underneath the gas tube, part of the rear sight block near the barrel. Another thing was the Handguards and stock, they had random touch up spots with some muddy lacquer which is extremely noticeable when it’s in lit areas.

    Pristine Molot Parts Kit

Posted by Ken S. on Jan 16th 2024

Although exceptionally expensive this is a pristine parts kit. The kit I received was all matching and very well de-miled. Furniture has only minor handling marks. This kit looks to be from a lightly used to unissued 1976 Molot RPK. Great opportunity to build a Molot clone with authentic Russian parts.
