Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

We accept returns on most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus original shipping costs and a 3% credit card processing fee.

If a return is due to our error—such as receiving an incorrect or defective item—we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Customer-modified items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.

If an order is canceled prior to shipment and a refund is required, we reserve the right to deduct the 3% credit card processing fee incurred at the time of purchase.

Parts Fitment Disclaimer

We do not guarantee part fitment or compatibility, as we cannot determine a customer’s intended use (for example, installing AKM-pattern parts on a Yugo-spec rifle). Many AK-platform components require hand fitting, filing, or minor gunsmithing, which is normal and expected. A part that does not fit does not constitute an error on our part.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a return is initiated, please allow up to three (3) weeks to receive your refund. In many cases, refunds are processed sooner. This timeframe includes:

  • 3–7 business days for return transit

  • 2–4 business days for return inspection and processing once received

  • 2–4 business days for your bank or card issuer to complete the refund

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please contact us with your order number and details regarding the item you wish to return. We will respond promptly with return instructions specific to your order.

Refund Method

Most refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
If this is not possible—such as with an expired card or payments made via money order or Credova—refunds will be issued as store credit only to the account used to place the order.

Firearms Warranty & FFL Cancellation / Restocking Policy

Firearms Warranty

All firearms sold directly by us include a one (1) year warranty from the date of shipment covering manufacturer defects only.

If you believe there is an issue with your firearm, please contact us first. We are happy to discuss the concern and determine next steps. Photos—and video when necessary—are required to demonstrate the issue before any warranty service or solutions can be offered.


FFL Order Cancellations & Restocking Fees

  • All FFL order cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Any firearm that must be returned to us due to issues taking possession at the FFL will also be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

The restocking fee does not apply if a firearm is returned to us solely for re-shipment (for example, if an FFL closes or is unable to accept delivery). In these cases, once the firearm is returned to us, a new shipping charge will be required before we ship the firearm to a different FFL.


Return Shipping Responsibilities

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and/or the receiving FFL dealer. The dealer will already have a copy of our FFL on file to facilitate proper transfer and return shipment.

If we are requested to provide a return shipping label, the original payment method will be re-charged for the cost of that label.


Shipping Firearms Back to Arms of America

For all packages shipped to us for any reason, please include a copy of the applicable order number inside the package to ensure timely processing.

When shipping a firearm:

  • Firearms must be shipped in a reasonable soft or hard gun case

  • Firearms received without a proper case will incur a charge for a soft rifle case added to the work order

  • Oversized cases may result in additional shipping charges


Packaging Requirements & Fees

Please do NOT use the following packing materials:

  • Packing peanuts

  • Shredded paper

  • Plastic grocery bags

  • Toilet paper or paper towels

  • Unnecessarily heavy items (e.g., magazines)

  • General garbage

  • Excessive tape that must be cut away to access the item

Packages received with these materials will incur a $10 processing fee.

Acceptable packing materials include:

  • Packing paper

  • Bubble wrap or bubble mailers

  • Air pillows / air pouches

  • Foam sheets

  • Zip-top bags




Any additional fees or charges referenced within these policies will either be applied directly to the applicable order (for example, when a firearm is sent in for a work order) or, in the case of returns, deducted from the refunded amount.
