These barrels are offered at clearance pricing and are sold as is, with no warranty or returns. Due to their 1:10 twist rate, they are best suited for 52-grain 7N6 military surplus loads.

We have received reports from customers of accuracy issues when using other types of ammunition, which we believe is due to differences in ammunition specifications. We have sent these back to the MFG, Rosco, to inspect, and they returned them to us after inspection, citing the ammunition. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.

5.45x39 Black Nitride Barrel produced by ROSCO Mfg. to complete your 23mm sized kit!*

They are Made from 4150 Chrome Moly steel and black nitrided inside and out.
OPTIONAL Gas Port is drilled at 90 degrees in the 45 degree location, size 0.076 (#48). Gas port is drilled by the factory, so the port is nitride finished, we do not perform the drilling as a service.
Chosing no gas port is perfect for custom builds or if you plan to use a 90 degree AK-74 gas block.**

The handguard retainer slots and extractor clearance cut is already in place.

Barrel profile uses standard AKM journal specs. Perfect for our WBP 5.45 kits, or an AIMS 74 if you are missing the hard to find unique front sight post and want to use a 47/74 front sight.

Twist rate 1:10

Examples of common step fee requests: Using a Jmac or Definitive Arms Combo Gas Block, AK-74 parts, Chopped barrel but still want to use a separate gas block and front sight (AMD-style).

*We will not turn down the trunnion journal from 23mm to 22mm without receiving your trunnion to ensure proper press fitment.
**AK-74 parts will need the front sight and gas block journals extended a bit, please use the Step Fee and request via checkout notes if you need this done.
