Russian Izhmash Aluminum Waffle 30 round surplus AK-47 magazine.

During the mid to late 1950s the Soviets also produced a lightweight aluminum magazine for the AK generally referred to as the “Aluminum Waffle” by collectors because of its very distinctive ribbed pattern. This mag is made entirely of aluminum, except for its spring, and carries a black enamel finish. They will be found with multiple inspector stamps on both the spine and lower sides. Made by Izhmash, most will show its factory mark on their spine. They were discontinued and are one of the harder mags to find now.

These highly desirable collector magazines range from Very good to Excellent surplus condition and may show some handling wear. These magazines are for 7.62x39 AK-47s, are made of Aluminum, and are Russian military issued. This magazine has a capacity of 30 rounds.
