Steel thread protector for M24x1.5RH thread pitch (AK 74/100 series threads)
This thread protector is a low cost option with a unique look!
Has a bulged knurled and notched center stripe to give plenty of grip for twisting by hand, and also has wrench flats if additional leverage is needed. Covers over the end of the threaded block to protect it from damage.
This device has a single detent notch, but can fit tight even without using the detent. Different builds may not even allow the detent to engage, based on if the barrel extends past the thread block or style of threads.
