AKM RIVET SET *ORIGINAL POLISH MILITARY IMPORTED RIVETS

I really like these rivets. The two rear counter sunk rivets are shorter than the AK-builder or Power Customs rivets.They aren’t long enough to be used with a side rail. Keep that in mind if you are installing one which piggy backs on the rear trunnion rivet. The front two counter sunk rivets have a unique rivet head which makes for a nice look when finished. I believe the non-counter sunk rivets used for the four front and four trigger guard rivets are 4mm rivets not 5/32. So the diameter is slightly larger than the US made ones. I also noticed they increase ever so slightly in diameter towards the rivet head. Which is nice if the receiver holes you drilled end up being larger. Maybe the flat you used didn’t line up perfect with the front trunnion holes so you had to enlarge them. These are perfect for that. They also crunch nice with Toth Tool rivet tools.

Revits are pretty much rivets but the Polish rivets seem to be slightly shorter which is especially helpful when reinstalling the barrel. Other rivets require more pressure during pressing to keep from scratching the barrel. The Polish rivets seem to compress into the space better with less pressure.
