Description: Century Arms AK RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group. This American made single stage trigger assembly includes a U.S. 922r compiant trigger, hammer and disconnector as well as the hammer spring, disconnector spring and trigger sleeve. Constructed from wear-resistant heat treated and hardened steel, this drop-in replacement trigger group is an excellent upgrade to any AK style firearm with all the reliability of a traditional trigger assembly.
Machined release surfaces offer a smooth and consistent trigger pull superior to standard AK triggers. The top profile of the hammer is optimized to eliminate bolt carrier hang up and provide smoother operation, no polishing required. The disconnector is optimized to eliminate trigger slap and folding of the engagement surface. The assembly also features a double hook design with innovative relief cuts that allow it to be used in receivers that only accept single hook triggers.

RAK Trigger
I’ve been using the FIME 922ak trigger for all my builds. I bought 6 RAK triggers for use in several AK47s. The FIME is more of a drop in unit. I had to file one side of the sear to allow the safety lever to clear. Also had to file so the safety lever would clear the back of the sear. The hammer spring arms won’t stay in place long enough to tie them. Got snake bit a few times. I had to bend the hammer spring arms out so they would stay in place. During test, one of the arms, next to the retaining lever jumped out of place, interfering with the trigger. I filled the ridge off the hammer and polished it. All in all, it works, once a few minor issues are taken care of. I’ll buy FIME triggers over the RAK.
