Bayonets mod 63 rusty
The rust was old cosmoline, which washed off, but the cosmoline dissolved the rubber handle/scabbard cover !

Not bad
Needs lot of cleaning and rust removing but in the end it's worth it

ROMANIAN EARLY MODEL 63 BAYONET
I picked of 5 of these with the hopes of getting a couple decent ones but because of the low price thought the odds were against me. Anyhow out of the 5, 3 where in good condition meaning the blades were barely used and only had minor scratches here or there on the handles and scabbords, after wiping them down they are good looking. The other 2 were heavily used and in poor to fair at best condition. They both had Knicks in the blades and the handles and scabbards are dented and rough looking. Over it was a good buy and I recommend them. Even the 2 poor to fair condition ones are still very usable and the Knicks can be filed out and cleaned up. These make a perfect utility knife in their condition. If you are looking for a pristine bayonet these are not for you, arms of america described them well.

Mine was good
At first I kinda thought I got ripped of because I thought I paid $25. After cleaning it. I said. "It's OK.". After I reviewed my receipt and found it was $10. I think now it is excellent!!! Fits my rifle great too.

Romanian Bayonet
Pleasanty surprised to find an above average bayonet with no rust and a clean blade that has no knicks or chips. I’m happy with that.

Romanian Bayonets
I ordered 10 of these. They came as expected for $9.99 each. Dented scabbards, melted insulators, banged up handles, plenty of ding on the blade edges. 2 of them had decent blades and handles. All had intact and functional release buttons. Overall happy with purchase. Will be fun fixer uppers.

Great deal. 10 minuets with a stone and the edge is awesome. Definitely used and abused but still serviceable.

Bfpu Romanian Bayonet
I ordered 5. Most had insulators but some insulators looked melted onto the scabbard. All arrived functional and intact. At least 2 had notable chips on edge of blade. None had broken/missing release buttons. Otherwise expected condition. Roughed up handle surface, chips in end of bakelite handle, missing finish and rust.
The bakelite can be refinished and metal cleaned up and refinished, with some work.
