The Romanian Cugir Model M69 is a purpose-built military training rifle developed during the Cold War to train the next generation of soldiers in marksmanship fundamentals. Produced at the famed Cugir Arsenal, these rifles were used extensively to teach sight alignment, trigger control, and discipline—skills that would later carry over to service rifles like the AK platform.
