part kits we carry due to the current ATF Barrel Ban. Once our
inventory runs out we will not have access to these parts again. Please

Summary
As of August 12, 2005
ATF revised open letter to Federal Firearms Licensed Importers.
Importers
holding ATF approved permits to import frames, receivers, and or
barrels for otherwise non importable firearms. These permits will be
suspended as of January 1st, 2006. Read more by clicking the link below.

What does this mean?
ATF
has granted importers who already hold a permit a 60 day extension from
the previous open letter date set forth. Realizing some who hold
approved permits could face economic harm. It is certain no new permits
will be approved as of the previous open letter dated July 13, 2005.

Summary
As of November 22, 2005
ATF open letter to Federal
Firearms Licensed Importers. It shall be unlawful to import any frame,
receiver, and or barrel of such firearms that would be prohibited if
assembled. However the ATF recognizes barrels that do meet the sporting
clause may be importable if they meet certain requirements. Read more
by clicking the link below.

What does this mean?
It is certain no more Part
Kits will be imported with their barrel if they do not meet the
sporting clause. This means no more threaded barrels, bayonet lugs,
basically every current popular kit that’s being imported will not meet
the requirements. Importers may be able to import replacement barrels
for wsars and other types of sporting weapons that do currently meet
sporting requirements. However these barrels will not be similar to the
current ones since they will not posses a threaded barrel or a bayonet
lug. It is likely once importers run out of current inventory the price
of these part kits will raise drastically.
