You will want to purchase the following to complete this (we offer all of these parts)
-Receiver
-US Semi Auto trigger group
-Rivets for assembly
-Furniture such as buttstock is not included but this kit will accept all popular AK stocks such as Magpul, Tapco, and most surplus stocks.
These parts kits survived extensive torture testing from AKOU
HEADSPACING DISCLAIMER:
- All kits that we headspace will ship with a drilled gas port.
- During assembly, it is normal for tools and machines to cause minor cosmetic scratches to the original parts finish.
Most commonly, drilling any holes will cause metal shavings to scratch paint around the hole, and hammering any pins in with a punch will remove finish from the pin.
- In order to complete your build, you will need to remove your barrel from the trunnion, rivet the trunnion into your receiver, then press the barrel back in.
We pre-drill the barrel pin hole so you are able to use that as a guide when pressing your barrel back in.
Go/No-Go gauges must then be used to verify headspace before fully installing your barrel pin.
- Your kit is 100% head-spaced correct out of the box. We perform a series of checks across several team members prior to every order shipping out.
If you have concerns, you must check headspace BEFORE changing anything about the headspaced assembly using GO/NO-GO GAUGE!!!
If you have questions, please take pictures, and/or video, and reach out to us.
- Once the barrel is removed, or any alteration has been made to the populated barrel, at that point the customer or builder becomes responsible for the build. AOA cannot take responsibility for a headspaced assembly once alterations have been made to our gunsmith's work.
Removing the barrel and reinstalling it may result in head-space loosening or tightening of your pre-head spaced kit if you are only eyeballing the barrel pin hole. It can look lined up, but still be off by a few thousandths of an inch.
- Recheck head-space after you are done riveting your trunnion into your receiver and reinstall the barrel, and ensure it is correct BEFORE pressing the barrel pin.
**If you need to send an assembly back, we will charge another headspacing fee. We also cannot accept receivers, so if it needs to be sent back in, you must remove the receiver if it has already been riveted.
- Once all built, please clean your firearm before firing to make sure your new firearm is clear of assembly or shipping debris. If your assembled firearm is failing to cycle, sometimes metal burrs may get lodged in the gas port and need to be cleared out.
Thank you again.

Excellent headspaced kit!
I usually use surplus parts kits for my builds, but I thought I'd "take a break" and build from all new parts. I ordered the kit with a headspaced chrome lined barrel, and it sure didn't disappoint.
The first thing I did was to check the headspace, and found that it was perfect. All the components were nicely aligned on the barrel, and the gas tube was perfectly fitted. The rest of the parts were all nicely machined, and appeared to be very high quality. I completed this build in a day on a Polish receiver, and it was about as easy as it gets. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show my son how to do build, so I did it at a leisurely pace while explaining every step. However, I figure I could have put it together in half a day or less even with an 80% receiver.
Somebody mentioned the undersized rivet holes in the front trunnion as a problem, but I found it to be an advantage. I use an AKB fixture to drill the receiver, and by drilling the receiver and the trunnion at the same time, I got perfectly aligned holes of exactly the same size with ease. As expected, the dust cover needed to be fitted, but this is also an advantage in my book. A "universal fit" dust cover will never fit well, but if you fit it yourself you can get it perfect.
Even the mag latch ended up perfect right out of the box, all the mags I tested snapped in firmly after the trigger guard was riveted. The only mod I did was to round and polish the tip of the latch, since the sharp, stamped edge can cause binding if a mag is tight. Still, this is just one of the extra touches I like to add, so it's definitely not specific to this kit.
This kit went together very easily, and it was a joy to work with. Considering how easy it was, I'd say this would be a perfect kit for a budding AK builder. It is also a great kit for the experienced builders who want to build a high quality AK without the hassle of cleaning and inspecting surplus parts. -
Headspaced kit
Easy build. Went together fast. I had it built and shooting in a day.

Good Solid new parts
I like how everything was brand new and the pin holding the Receiver and front trunnion was already half way out for the buyer (makes it easier and faster) the polish rivets for the front trunnion and rear trunnion are a little bigger than the holes on the front trunnion and rear trunnion so you might have to drill the holes a little bigger to squish the rivets but it’s a custom gun so i guess it’s like custom fitting you can say but i wish the holes for right size anyways Im satisfied with my build. Thanks Arms Of America

Head spaced kit
This was for my first AK build and it went together for well. All parts were to spec and the factory head space made the barrel installation after riveting very easy. The top cover required filing/ fitting, which is normal. The threads are prefect for a pin and weld oss break and the barrel was in line for the can. I am happy with the product I received and would order again.

WBP forged trunnion akm-47 parts kit 7.62x39 bare bones* head spaced*
True to AoA's description, components are brand new factory produced in Poland. Materials used are first rate and workmanship is excellent. Compatibility with
Childer's 80% receiver is 100% ( except for a minor shaving from the ejector to let the bolt slide smoothly to
battery. If you're looking for authentic Polish made ak components/kits, this is the one to get. The combination of quality, workmanship and excellent customer service, makes AoA the most reliable source for real Polish made ak kits for your builds. Only complaint: most of these kits are out of stock or barrels for the non-head spaced ones are hard to find "in stock". Still, AoA is the THE place to go to for Polish kits. -

MyvWBP build experience
When you build a new parts kit the parts will have some fitment issues. In my case the bolt Carrier and gas piston weren't centered in the gas tube. As a result the piston was rubbing against the right side of the gas tube and not seating into the gas port tube. After a few months of trying to figure this out i thought it was rubbing inside the rear sight block. It was actualy the bolt lug rubbing against the forward trunion. So i had to remove a little metal on the bolts locking lug so it could clear the trunion as i didn't have atool to work on the trunions point of contact. This worked and solved my problem. This is AK building. Expect every kit to be different and have its own challenges. I thought a new parts build in todays time and state of the art machining process would make my building pleasure easyer. A lot of times you wont know a problem exists untill the rifle is put together. I made this kit into a side folder and it came out amazing. Not knockin this kit, but i was worried i had a bad kit until i finally figured it out. Good luck on your build.
