Hungarian AMD 65 Receiver Flat

AMD-65 Flat w/ rails from AK-Builder

These are the correct flats for the AMD-65 parts kits with the sidefolding stock. These do not need the sidefolder reinforcement plate. The holes on the bottom of the receiver for the push button and the stock pivot pin are undersized and will need to be opened up after bending.Use a letter Q drill bit for the locking pin & 1/4" for the pivot pin.

Receiver flat thickness= 1mm (.040")
Material 4130 Annealed
Comes with bolt guide rails
Rails and flat need to be heat treated after bending

To use these flats you will need to have a 5mm and 7mm reamer. The physics of bending sheet metal make it next to impossible to have a bend close to a hole without distorting. To solve this the holes on the flat are undersized and need to be reamed to size after bending. Look at the receiver flat instruction page to see more info.
