Ribbed steel sheet metal AKM dust cover - new production by WBP
New virgin part, will require fitting to the specific rifle it is being installed on. Measures about 9 3/8ths" in length, may require some filing or fitting, either lengthwise, or around the recoil spring hole. Filing the bottom side of the square hole is typically needed.

Replaced my top cover on my pioneer arms ak and it took the gap away between the safty and the top cover

Worth the Effort!
The Polish ribbed dust covers are very sturdy! I didn't think that they would have been made with this thick of metal! The finish blends in very well with my AKM. The one I received required a little bit of Dremeling and filing but that's to be expected when you order something where one size fits all!

Bought this as a replacement for one that was messed up by another builder. Fantastic quality!

Ribbed cover
This cover is 1 once light than the smoother cover. It does not fit correctly and needs to assistance of a rubber mallet and or more fitting for it to seat correctly

WBP Ribbed Top Cover
Good quality top cover with a nice finish. Only problem is it doesn't seem like it will fit without some modification. I tried the cover with the WBP Fox Gen 1, Fox Gen 2 and Jack rifles. I also tried a surplus ribbed Polish top cover, which worked no problem on the aforementioned rifles.
