4150 Black Nitride Barrel, made in-house by WBP (same barrel featured on the 5.56 Mini Jack!)
All new quality Polish parts
Imported from Rogow Poland and manufactured by WBP the Jack Classic rifle offers rock solid features. WBP is a Polish based firearms firm supplying parts and firearms to Police, Military and Civilian shooters all over the globe. The Jack rifle is chambered in 5.56/.223 semi auto. We ran it successfully with 5 different 5.56 mags, so we can say it works with a wide variety of 5.56 mags. Runs great with .223 Remington or 5.56 Nato.
These are beautiful rifles with Old School styling and look like an AK should look with gorgeous laminate stock set and deep rich black metal finish. The barrels are made by WBP in house, from 4150 steel and finished with black nitride. The rifle sports factory serial numbers on most major parts and the Polish Eagle on the left side of the sight block for added collectability & resale value. If you are looking for an AK rifle with Old School style and quality this may be the perfect rifle! Comes with 1-30 round WBP Magazine.
The WBP Jack is a result of input and requests from customers that loved the WBP Fox series but wanted a model with a standard AKM rear stock trunnion. The FOX rifle series offered the Beryl trunnion system allowing the shooter to install the Beryl Optic Rail. The FOX rifle has become a favorite for Kalashnikov enthusiasts and is one of the benchmarks that other AKs are gauged against. The roll out of new WBP models has been slow as they have wanted to focus on quality over quantity of their product but they are now up to 10 different models being produced, all with the same classic features and quality you've come to expect! The WBP Team will continue to listen to input from their customers and you can expect new and exciting WBP firearms and accessories in the future.
US 922 R parts will be pistol grip, muzzle brake, FCG, and gas piston.

Cons: Finicky with steel case ammo. On initial range time, would fail-to-extract with steel and I'd have to punch out the spent case. No issues with brass. Second range trip, started to handle steel fine for the little I put through it (for me at least). More range time will tell. Additionally, it's over-gased AF. It slings cases at the 1 O'Clock for a good 15 yards, denting the hell out of the case. I put a buddy's over-sized Zenico break on the muzzle just for fun and it was like punching King Kong in the dick it was so angry.
PROS: Despite being over-gased like a trailer park hooker on meth, it shoots pretty flat and you can still run it fast (albeit I've already churched mine up with a full furniture swap). Trigger is pretty good too, no complaints there. Fit and finish are excellent. Paddle mad release is glorious - wish this was standard on every AK out there.
Overall: I like it. Gas block (and sling loop) heat up fiercely fast, but hey, it's an AK. Quality 5.56 mags are expensive, but it is what it is. I'm definitely going to be looking into an adjustable gas piston to tame the gassing, but overall, this should be a fun 'Muricanized AK.
Awesome shooter, it has such a soft recoil.
Rifle came as pictured and described. Wood looks good, shoots all the brass and steel case ammo I fed it. Not as low recoiling as say a 545, but with a muzzle brake change, I suspect that will help a lot. The LBE unlimited trigger does leave a lot to be desired. I found that the factory trigger feels better and even better with an ALG imo. Safety lever and larger mag release are really nice. So far I'm very pleased with it, will most likely get another.
