Nice raw upper handguard
Good quality raw wood upper handguard. The fit and shape look right for AKM-pattern furniture, and it is exactly what I expected from unfinished wood: ready for sanding, staining, shellac, oil, or whatever finish you prefer.
I’m very happy with it. Just keep in mind that raw wood can absorb stain a little differently from other pieces in the set, so if you are trying to color-match everything perfectly, test the stain on the inside first. Great piece if you want to finish your AK furniture yourself.
