Wytwórnia Broni Jacek Popiński (WBP)
Not many machine marks to be seen compared to other carriers, the finish is beautiful in contrast to black recievers, its made really well. It fit in 3 different rifles i popped it in. Well worth it
Those of us running Magpul mags and some other US parts like pistol grip, etc we can swap out the us gas rod with the forged one here along with BCG entirely to make it easy. Most US AK parts aside from some triggers, grips, and breaks are crap material and not hardened correctly. This BCG eliminates one possible area. Nice machining and looks nice. Cycled smooth on a test fit.
Very nice bolt carrier, had a bit of corrosion or smut on it , not 100% sure this was brand new , still seems like a quality product
Best smooth and awesome Carrier from Poland
This a very nice bolt carrier to complete your build or to replace your old one.
Purchased w/bolt. Fits nicely in my Riley receiver build!
Carrier has some noticeable tooling marks along the top, which made me settle on a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating. Polished it per the Dan Daman YouTube vid, which seemed to help smooth out the action slightly. Basically, I ordered two MDC-47 UCR AKs and should have opted for the KNS piston upgrade but didn't. Not wanting to modify my original bolt carriers, I ordered some of these to install KNS AKM Small Bore (AGP-A-10S) pistons. Using the bolts from my MDC-47s, they easily passed two brands of no-go gauges. With the Zinc coating it was challenging to identify and mark the center of the retaining rivet heads in order to use the nail setter punch and start drilling, but patience is your friend. Went from 1/16" to 3/32" to 1/8" drill bits on the retaining rivet heads to ensure they were drilled out properly. Using a drill press helped a lot. After that, punching out the rivets with a 3/32" punch was easy and the pistons unscrewed off the bolt carriers by hand. Installing the KNS piston is simple after that. From fully closed, opening up the KNS piston 20-23 clicks was all I needed match a RD-703's recoil impulse, which had the tunable RD gas block set from the factory for unsuppressed shooting. Brass ejection was 5-10 feet depending on ammo type. Went with the small bore KNS pistons to avoid short stroking issues, since I'm using these unsuppressed. No malfunctions with a couple of hundred rounds on a hot day, but will need to test it on a cold day as well to ensure the adjustable gas setting is reliable.
High quality bolt carrier!
