The FB Beryl .556 rifle was designed by the Team at Fabryka Broni / FB Radom to replace their aging AKM 7.62x39mm and Tantal 5.45x39mm. With Poland joining the NATO alliance in 1999 they wanted to modernize and use NATO compatible .556 ammo. In the event of war in Europe Polish forces could utilize rounds supplied by other NATO partners.
The current import Beryl .556 M1 Rifle is a US Civilian legal semi auto sporting rifle. They are perfect for having fun at the range or home defense applications. Beautiful fit and finish with original Polish FB Factory markings will make this a great addition to your collection and increase in value. FB Radom is known throughout the word for producing unique firearms for military and sporting applications. Currently FB supply’s the Grot rifle to the Polish Military and conducts firearms exports to other friendly countries.
Muzzle Device Selection
We are now able to offer the choice between the normal threaded US Beryl Style Brake that we have been using (5.56 rifles will now be threaded 1/2x28, 7.62 rifles threaded 14-1), or installing an original Polish FB Radom Beryl Brake, which must be pressed and pinned onto the barrel.
Installation of this device requires us to turn down the barrel in order for the brake to fit, then we drill the two pin holes and pin the brake to the barrel. The additional price covers the FB muzzle device and the work needed for installation. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose this then it would be very difficult to change your muzzle device in the future.
Do not choose this if you are also wanting the front end conversion pin & weld!!!
Left Side Selector
Military rifles have a "key hole" shaped safety hole which makes it simple to install and remove the left side selector:
We are installing this lever without any permanent modification to the rifle. It is assembled by removing a roll pin that links the outside lever to the inside post. We then assembe the two parts with the post inside the receiver, and re-insert the roll pin. This will mean you must also disassemble the selector if you want to disassemble your fire control group.
Price includes the cost of the safety and work to install. We add the correct detent notches (makes a "click" when flipping the lever) and add the selector markings. NOTE: This lever does scratch the paint like a right side lever, so we do NOT make any guarantees or warranty the cosmetic appearence of paint or scratches around this part!
Pin and Weld to 16.25" barrel length is now an option!
This service involves pulling the barrel, cut, crown, and thread, Push front sight back, reinstall barrel, and finally pin + weld muzzle brake so the barrel measures a little over 16" total. We will touch up the affected areas with our standard black Duracoat, but FB paint is prone to scratching so this service may result in other areas of the rifle having minor paint scratches/chips.
NOTE: We can use a customer supplied muzzle device, or sell you any muzzle device that we carry for this work upon request. Swapping parts for a gas block combo is also possible, either customer supplied or sold from us.
FFL INSTRUCTIONS:
This is a firearm so we must ship it to an FFL holder.
If we do not have the FFL on file, you will receive a notification that we will need to receive a copy of that FFL liscense. At that point, please have your FFL dealer email us a copy of their FFL to FFL@armsofamerica.com and reference your order number and name. Once we receive it, we can finish processing your order.
Our full FFL policy can be found here. Thank you!

5.56 Beryl
Great build quality, I've been looking forward to getting one for awhile. They came in stock and I picked one up. Haven't been able to shoot it but I'm very excited to. Arms of America is awesome!

Beryl 556
I can't say enough about this rifle and what A of A provided. I'm still playing around with different ammo but so far the best 5 round group I've got is 1.5 MOA with 55 grain 223 Hornady Frontier match. Due to the barrel twist she likes 55 grain. If you think it's like your AR where 77 grain is going to be best for your groups, you'd b wrong. 77 grain opened up to 3 MOA. I think I'll b able to get her down to a 1 MOA but am confident in saying it can consistently do 1.5 MOA with a 5 round group. It's stunning for an AK and I get some looks when people see how tight a group an AK shot.
In typical AK fashion it's overgassed but still plenty fine. With the gassing it's easy to say it's eaten every type of ammo and I've had zero misfires, bad feeds, or any malfunctions.
I put the Polish trigger in that A of A sent as I didn't like the US trigger they put in at all and the Polish trigger is def better in my opinion. Plus the hammer on the US trigger made my bolt really really rough and honest even when well lubed the bolt locked up only after a week of sitting in my safe. Bolt action is much much better with the Polish trigger. Also put in a typical AK hammer spring as I have no idea why they use a short/cut spring with the US trigger.
I put an Eotech 552 and G43 on it and it's such a great combo functionally. Looks wise it's the only way to go. The aesthetics of this rifle, especially with the optics is hands down my fav.
There is no doubt this is my fav rifle. I honestly have a hard time taking anything out to the range. If I could have only one rifle it'd b this. If it's in stock buy it...you will be so happy you did! -
5.56 Beryl
This rifle is not like any other. It has a beautiful fit and finish. The full package is the way to go. It certainly is a show off piece at the range. The top rail is easily removable as it does make the optic sit high with the telescopic butt stock. It was zeroed right out of the box and ready to take whatever ammo I had for it. I’m only a little disappointed that I didn’t get a FB Radom mag with it as it came with a PSA 5.56 mag. Still did the job. I definitely can’t wait to get back to the range with it with more friends. I just wish I could shoot steel instead of paper.

FB Radom Beryl
The rifle arrived in great condition with no issues. The complimentary case was nice quality and had the magazines I ordered in the side pouches. I'm a picky customer, but the rifle and conversion was nicer than I expected. My nicest AK pattern rifle and I would purchase again. Also, the complimentary cup that came with it was surprisingly nice and a nice touch.
