Brand NEW premium 4140 US Steel 5.45x39 16inch barrel. These barrels are based off of an original Bulgarian AK-74 barrel. They are ready to go minus the gas port hole/barrel pin notch. Be advised these barrels are built to spec for your Bulgarian 74 kits/rifles which means the barrel is not threaded (the Bulgarian Front Site base is threaded and once its pinned in place you will have a threaded barrel).

Just got one of your barrels this week. The finish of the barrel is very good. The area that the rear sight base fits was undersized so much that I had to knurl that journal area to get the sight block to stay to drill the pin groove. The journal area that the gas block fits was about .004 too large for the gas block that I have. I had to ream my gas block to fit this area. The breech end of the barrel where the ejector cut is was not chamfered which isn't a big problem. All other dimensions are OK. Went to the range today with the new barrel and it shot very well. Very good groups foe an AK74.

Just like the AMD barrel I bought, this barrel is also very reasonably pried. The fit and finish was also clean and precise.I was very happy with the purchase.I will buy again.
